My everyday gadgets and software.

As a wanna-be minimalist, I have very simple taste in stuff. I get only what I absolutely need and use them for as long as they'll last.

Workstation

  • 14” MacBook Pro, M1 Pro, 16GB RAM

Switched back to a MacBook Pro after a few years on the M2 Air. Honestly didn’t expect the jump to feel this noticeable. Slightly heavier but still loving it.

  • AOC 32” Curved Gaming Monitor

This wide display is everything. Zooming in and juggling apps and sites is a breeze, especially with my monitor arm.

  • Logitech MX Master 3 & MX Keys

Best ergonomic mouse and keyboard, hands down. No wrist pain thanks to its design that keeps the blood flowing. Couldn't be happier with how well these work together.

  • Apple AirPods Pro 2

People are usually surprised to learn that I don't own big headphones. But why would I when my AirPods handle music and silence the world around me perfectly?

  • iPhone 13 mini

Been using the best phone Apple ever made since 2022. Not switching until they bring back small phones or issue a formal apology. (Apple, I’m on my knees here 🥹)

Tools

  • VS Code

I used to be a JetBrains fangirl until I gave this IDE a shot. Now, it's my go-to until something even better comes along. (Google's Antigravity, maybe? 🌚)

  • iTerm2

I’m honestly not even sure what features I get with this that aren’t just part of the macOS Terminal but it’s what I use. And it gets the work done so I'm good.

  • Canva

Went with Canva over Figma since I've been all about quick graphics lately. For UI design, though, Figma is the champ.

Productivity

  • Bible App

Starting each day with prayer and devotion has been my morning ritual. It's my source of daily inspiration and my over 430-day Bible reading streak is my proudest achievement yet.

  • Notion

Using Notion makes me feel like I could actually be a project manager. It's where I sort out all my ideas, tasks, and dreams and keep an eye on my progress.

  • Slack

Literally my virtual office. I love how one app lets me flip between my job and all my communities—whether it's web dev, tech writing, or contributing to open-source.

  • Spotify

I always have a sermon, music, or podcast playing in the background as I work from home. And I've got a playlist for everything - working out, focusing or just relaxing.
